Eversource Energy Business Customer Service Representative-Level II in Manchester, New Hampshire

Job Description Summary:

Individual will be a member of the Business Contact Centerteam. Individualwill receive telephone calls from CT Electric and Gas, Western MA and NH electric customers. They will handle email inquiries, requests, complaints from business customers in connection with service applications, transfers and disconnects, service interruptions, and customer billing and accounting matters.

Individual must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be sensitive to external and internal customer needs, and be able to apply analytic skills and exercise sound judgment while interacting with internal and externalcustomers. Individualwill perform various detailed billing functions and analysis in connection with gas and electric operations for business customers. Individual must be willing to take ownership of and responsibility for every assignment, anticipating customer expectations and giving the highest priority to customer satisfaction. Please note that there is the opportunity to progress to a Business Customer Service Representative Level V, as part of the Business Contact Center team.


A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner arerequired. Preferredapplicants have attained Level III call center status. Candidates must be able to maintain the skills to take calls and takes calls as assigned, even if performing off-line functions.

T wo years of related experience is required for the "II" level; three to four years of related experience is required for the "III" level; and four or more years of related experience is required for the "IV" level. Candidates with four or more years of related experience is preferred.

This position is 40 hours per week.
