  Your Opportunity

  This part-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an NDE Technician in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.

• Conducts routine and non-routine field tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance.

• Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.

• Assists with the development of procedures required to perform equipment maintenance and operation.

• Participates in planning and executing projects.

• May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed.

• Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.

• Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.

• May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.

• May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.

  Your total rewards package

  The range of base salary for the position is between $27.00 - $34.62 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
