Job Description:

Ensures that Corporate Security remains NERC/CIP compliant on CIP-004 Standards, access control. This is accomplished by working with the Corporate Security CIP Coordinator and the company Compliance Department on preventive and mitigation matters.

Programs the CCURE9000 PACS system. Assigning and programing alarms and response plans.

Ensures that appropriate data and records are accurately maintained, including preparation of reports.

Administers specific processes and procedures by directing personnel in correct procedures related to applicant background screening, card access controls and badging and personnel risk assessments.

Provides technical assistance to business line compliance groups regarding reliability standards requirements.

Coordinate and facilitate projects and assignments related to Corporate Security responsibilities to NERC CIP reliability standards, regulatory compliance requirements and measures.

Performs specialized reliability standards and compliance analyses.

Prepares and maintains internal and external reports including monitoring of department budgetary process.

Identifies and resolve technical and procedural problems in an expedient manner while using sound judgement.

Establishes and maintain client relationships and partnerships to support processes.

Completes other duties and projects as assigned by manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or Security and/or Compliance related experience is preferred.

Work Conditions:

Office environment, 8a-5p Monday – Friday

Required Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED and proficiency using MS Office WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS as well as presentation/information sharing software (PowerPoint, SharePoint) is required. Requires working knowledge of business compliance risk and alarm systems and Knowledge or ability to understand and comply within the NERC/CIP standards

Job Function:


Position Purpose:

Provide technical administrative support for specific programs, projects or processes including but not limited to Corporate Security responsibilities to NERC CIP reliability standards and other regulatory compliance requirements, complex problem resolution and prevention; customer service, communication and training and development of internal physical security controls. Is responsible for the submission, tracking, and oversight of repair requests for security equipment. May also be responsible for leading security related projects and assignments. Control and issue NERC/CIP access badges and non-CIP badges for the company. Perform NERC/CIP programming of the TYCO and Matrix Physical Access Control System.
