Overview

This position is responsible for reviewing, prioritizing, planning, assigning, and coordinating maintenance activities across the power plant.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and prioritizes incoming work orders.

  • Develops corrective and preventive maintenance work plans ensuring all necessary resources including time, labor, materials, tools and support craft are available.

  • Schedules, communicates, and coordinates work assignments with applicable maintenance and/or operations departments.

  • Reviews completed work orders and ensuring accuracy of reporting within the maintenance management system.

  • Plans and prioritizes maintenance activities in a manner to ensure efficient utilization of personnel resources and to minimize equipment downtime.

  • Tracks and reviews equipment performance, availability, maintenance histories, and work plans on an ongoing basis to identify areas for improvement.

  • Work with contractors to schedule and oversee work.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree

  • 8+ years power plant maintenance and/or industrial maintenance and operations, or a high school education and a minimum of ten years of experience in power plant maintenance and/or industrial maintenance and power plant operations.

  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of established safety procedures and power plant electrical systems/equipment.

  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Computer skills
