Job Description:

Assist in department Mobile Hybrid & .Net application development projects for various applications relative to the utility industry

Manage multiple tasks while accurately maintaining record of work accomplishments.

Perform other duties as directed and assigned by the manager.

Required Education & Experience:

Completed sophomore year of undergraduate studies with declared major in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 3.00 GPA.

Academic and practical experience in JavaScript and HTML5 coding preferred.

Familiarity with Angular (AngularJS) TypeScript and Ionic a plus

Able to write CSS to ensure consistent design across pages.

Familiarity with AJAX and the MVC pattern desired.

Knowledge of Oracle or SQL databases preferred.

Ability to collaborate with others to build effective web applications.

Position Purpose:

This intern position is responsible for assisting the .Net/Mobile Team in developing mobile and browser based applications. This person will actively participate in creation and envisioning of new products for internal and external customers. The team focuses on employee applications to enhance job knowledge, re-engineer processes and make the employees more efficient through the use of mobility. Under immediate supervision the person assists in the hands on development, support and delivery of applications, providing quality, cost-effective and timely solutions. This team has won national awards for innovation.

Seeking a student going to school full time (at least 12 credit hours) pursuing a bachelors degree to work 20 to 40 hours per week (8am-5pm – Monday-Friday) with flexibility around the student’s class schedule.
