Overview
PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE IS HYBRID TO ONE OF OUR LOCAL OFFICES IN ALLENTOWN, PA OR LOUISVILLE, KY
The Business Analysis Lead, under supervision of the Sr Manager – Solutions Assurance, has responsibility for the oversight of staff aug contractors in the IT Business Analysis Organization. #LI-Hybrid #INDPPL
Responsibilities
Planning and Overseeing the business analysis effort on projects for staff aug contractors.
Develop staff aug vision, direction, and specific objectives for the Business Analysis (BA) in alignment with IT Operating Model.
Work with Manager to Create BA center of excellence to improve skills, processes, and standards with BA team.
Define and update BA processes, tools and standards to ensure IT solutions and initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Provide active leadership for monitoring and reporting, incident investigation and lessons learned and best practices within the team.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls within area of responsibility,
Coach and mentor team members. Set performance targets and evaluate/enforce service delivery against targets.
Lead escalation efforts within teams to remove impediments to instill a high level of customer satisfaction within the organization.
Interview and hire qualified staff aug contractors to meet the needs of the IT Organization for the product or project teams as needed.
Develop staff to maintain the desired technical and leadership skills required for the group.
Provide counsel and specific training and development activities related to current and future assignments. Support and implement organizational and developmental goals
Lead best practices for business analysis principles, including as-is and to-be requirements definition and process flows, and related activities.
Partner with the Quality Assurance team to ensure requirements and testing processes and procedures align.
Work with IT leadership to provide resourcing to IT initiatives, review allocation of existing staff to maintain productive workload levels.
Foster constructive culture in holding direct reports accountable to achieve results and promote team to empower each other to work collaboratively and proactively.
Contribute to the development of budgets for area of responsibility and assist in the preparation of operational plans for the IT department.
Conduct internal communications and leadership that involve obtaining cooperation on issues that may be complex or controversial such as governance processes or efficiency and improvement initiatives. Utilize negotiation and persuasion to come to agreement with others.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related work experience or 10 years of overall experience.
Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital technology
Excellent interpersonal relations skills
Be able to define problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions
Demonstrated leadership skills both with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or master’s degree
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Experience with and understanding of the Project Life Cycle.
Knowledge of ITIL Service Management Essentials
Ability to effectively adapt to rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment.
Agile / Business Analyst certifications such as IIBA - CBAP, IIBA – AAC CSM, or PSPO
