Under general supervision; the student intern will provide human resources support, focusing on software systems administration. Consults with and advises human resources employees on system processes and procedures. Acts as a liaison between HR and IT on system upgrades, enhancements and issues.

Seeking a student currently enrolled full time in college to work part-time (20-25 hours/week) during the school year and possibly full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer. Flexibility available for part time semesters around school schedule.


  • Runs data audits weekly to ensure security and data in the system is accurate.

  • Actively participates in special projects involving HRIS (including but not limited to) all upgrades and enhancements.

  • Updates and maintains HRIS Security.

  • Business Process Administrator. Analyzes end user business needs and develops processes in HRIS to accommodate needs.

  • Develops and executes on demand statistical summaries and/or special reports from HRIS for departmental Employees, Management, Senior Management and Executives with very short lead times.

  • Maintains end user documentation of HRIS including user instructions, training and procedures manuals.

  • Provides support for questions/inquires on PeopleSoft issues and Query Report Writing.

  • All other duties and projects as assigned


  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program full time (at least 12 credit hours/semester) and completed at least one year of college (over 30 semester hours) with a major in Human Resources, Computer Information Systems, Business or technology related field.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
