The Security Manager of AES US Renewable leads and manages a team of security professionals, overseeing AES US Renewable's security strategies and operations. They ensure the protection of physical and digital assets, safeguarding employees, clients, and visitors. Through risk assessments and security programs, they ensure compliance with regulations and guide effective incident responses.

By promoting a culture of security awareness, they maintain a secure environment for all. As a strategic leader, they influence policies beyond their immediate sphere, shaping the organization's security landscape for the future. Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other teams.

  • Establish and lead a high-performing security team.

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.

  • Conduct risk and threat assessments.

  • Oversee daily security operations.

  • Conduct performance reviews.

  • Monitor industry trends and advancements.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior professionals.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in Security Management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point).

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing healthy conflict while maintaining interpersonal business relationships.

  • Security Management certification is a plus.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $119.000 and $148.750/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
