The AES Clean Energy land team is seeking a Land Holdings Manager, who will help manage AES Clean Energy’s Land Bank. The Land Bank is a strategic real estate fund that purchases land early in the project development lifecycle. The properties purchased and managed by the Land Bank will ultimately support AES Clean Energy’s growing pipeline of solar, wind, and storage projects.
The role requires extensive real estate investment knowledge and the ability to manage a diverse real estate portfolio across the United States. The successful candidate will work on a cross functional team with land acquisition, real estate, development, strategic development, legal, finance, and outside consultants, landowners, and financial parties.
Work with land acquisition, strategic development, and development teams to identify land bank candidates
Review land bank applications and make recommendations for approval
Manage due diligence process and deliverables
Manage transaction schedules, cashflow forecasting, and task tracking
Work with finance and development teams to source inputs for real estate financial models
Present materials for Risk & Investment Committee and/or board approval
Work with land compliance manager on real estate closings, payments and other compliance items
Monitor property revenues (e.g., farm leases) and report performance
Assist with sale of un-utilized or under-utilized land
The expected salary for this position is between $110,000 and $170,000. Factors that may be used to determine final salary offered include relevant experience, skills, location, qualifications and other factors, consistent with applicable law. This position is eligible to receive an annual bonus.
