As an Electromagnetic Tool Technician your key responsibilities will be to test and operate specialty MWD equipment on Directional Drilling projects. This position must operate MWD equipment to successfully deliver the client’s drilling project requirements and is responsible for all MWD activities at the project site, including equipment, procedures and effective troubleshooting and analysis. It is essential to possess strong attention to detail and effective communication skills while working in a fast paced environment.

What it takes:
Experience with EM steering tools and systems
Knowledge of basic engineering and logging principles
Computer proficiency
Experience with Boregyde EM System (desired)
A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
Travel required. Position may require extended travel, meaning the travel may account for up to 100% of the time and/or limit the ability to return home during off time.
