An IT Fiber Operations Intern will assist in various areas of transport fiber optic design and construction in the IT Fiber Operations department. We’re looking for someone who can maintain a high degree of situational awareness to meet continually changing conditions with a fresh and adaptable approach. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECC’s mission.

Maintain outside plant documentation and operate fiber optic asset management software.
Assist the department with construction management tasks and mapping projects.
Assist with field data acquisitions and easement investigation.
Assist with the company’s GIS program.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Pursuing a college degree.
Strong skills with computer hardware and various software.
Technologically adept and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.
Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop
