An Assistant Analyst provides support in procurement, records management, supply chain, compliance and other miscellaneous activities for the Engineering Department. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and continuing to strive to push AECC and our mission forward.
Assists with procurement services related to purchase of equipment, material, tools and construction services including but is not limited to, preparing requests for quotations, creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders, monitoring/reporting delivery status, and processing invoices.
Assists with compliance support activities such as development of system models and collection and retention of required documentation.
Supports Drafting Department with administration of Autodesk utilities software including Vault, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD civil and others as needed.
Assists with creation of design packets, including scanning, filing, uploading, and/or distributing engineering drawings and other related documents.
Create spreadsheets and documents to assist Engineering Support team members with items such as equipment specifications, bid evaluations, action items, meeting notes, etc.
Assists Analysts with department engineering records management.
Assists with project management functions, including updating schedules and action item lists, soliciting status updates from team members, and preparing materials for project meetings.
The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
High school diploma/GED, plus enrolled in a University and in pursuit of a degree such as Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Supply Chain or similar related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
