This position is a summer internship with potential for part time hours during the semester and will focus primarily in the area of Cyber Security.

  • Provides customer service for LES computer users in the areas of cyber security protection tools, PC/peripheral/mobile hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

  • Assists with troubleshooting and resolving information technology problems. Researches and gathers system requirements and develops plans to address solution. Communicates the results, as directed.

  • Under direct supervision, installs, configures, upgrades, maintains, and supports hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

  • Writes supporting reports and completes special projects which will require researching, analyzing, and interpreting many different types of reference material which address current or proposed projects.

  • Assists in developing standards, procedures, user guides, and/or other related documentation.

  • Research skills including new technologies

  • Basic written and oral communication skills to include presentations

  • Ability to organize work tasks, i.e., handle multiple task projects


  • Working on a degree in Information Technology or related field.
