This position performs work necessary for the commissioning, operation and maintenance of protection and control equipment, related electric substation and transmission line devices and equipment, and critical infrastructure protection substation equipment. Senior Engineer is responsible for protective relay settings, coordination, field commissioning, and associated high voltage switching as needed. This Senior Engineer role is expected to be the local operations point of contact and site leader for NEET MidAtlantic activities in the area. This Senior Engineer role will include after-hours call out coverage. Senior Engineer may also assists with other NEET projects and facilities, including associated travel.

Job Overview Employees in this role apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. This job is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks. This position conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations.
