NEUCO is looking for a Safety Advisor to join our team! Under the supervision of the Safety Manager, the Safety Advisor will collaborate with operations to promote and influence the company’s safety programs.
What You'll Do
· Conduct field observations, inspections, and audits, submitting findings through the company’s electronic audit tool.
· Report incidents and assist with documentation, investigation, and root cause analysis as requested.
· Help identify trends and develop mitigating actions.
· Assist the training team in preparing and conducting training presentations.
· Manage fall protection, respiratory protection, and safety programs.
· Ensure compliance with internal, external, and client-specific EHS requirements (including Company policies, OSHA, PHMSA, EPA, and customer standards).
· Serve as the on-site Safety Representative for complex projects or as required by contract.
What You'll Have
Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Safety or a related field, preferably in underground utility construction or gas pipeline construction.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Adobe programs.

Work Environment
Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Legal Stuff
