Operator
Operators operate heavy duty equipment, including but not limited to, Backhoe, trencher, excavators, directional drills. **Specific job titles may include Aerial, Locator, HDD, Asphalt, CDL, Finisher, TCP, Underground, etc.; however, the essential duties and responsibilities are highlighted below.
What Do You Offer Us?
Operates and maintains one or more of the following lists of equipment and/ or machines: tandem dump truck, off road truck, dozer, large front end loader, backhoe, motor grader, excavator, skid steer, mini ex, water truck, and various other equipment in excavating, filling, and compacting in development activities
Inspect and restore equipment fluid levels including oil, fuel, water, and transmission fluid: verify operational gauges and tires; lubricate equipment as needed and adjust as necessary
Clean assigned equipment and related parts, office and lounge areas as required.
Directing traffic
Provide support to assist other staff in the completion or their duties and responsibilities
Provide training and direction as needed
Maintain equipment records according to company policy
Operator equipment subject to change based upon company and job specifications and needs
Other related duties and projects as assigned

What is Required?
High school diploma or equivalent
RSO Training preferred
Class A driver is preferred
Experience – 3 years minimum
Time Management and project management skills
Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to a trencher, backhoe, excavators, directional drills.
Familiarity with Horizontal Directional Drills
Positive attitude, hard work ethic, and a priority for safety
Reads utility locates, coordinates potholing, and ensures the safety of existing facilities.
Operates motor vehicles during travel to/from jobsites
Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs
Experience working in construction is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
Able to monitor the project site throughout each shift
Able to pass respiratory fit test if working in an environment where required
Able to lead crews in stretch and flex activities daily
Able to access all areas of a project site to inspect work and communicate with employees
Ability to maintain valid drivers license
Able to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction
