Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. As the Assistant Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of the communications team to inspect, permit and complete work for communications customers on utility aerial and underground facilities.

What You'll Do


  • Intake and tracking of daily crew reports.

  • Compiling inspection data and photos for the purpose of requesting permits.

  • Maintaining various project tracking worksheets.

  • Preparing customer correspondence regarding job and permit status.

  • Utilizing various resources such as Google Earth to map job locations and routes.

  • Preparing field work packets so crews have all necessary information for each project and tracking job completion status.

  • Maintain traffic control and municipality permit expiration and renewal dates.

  • Track customer contact information for the purpose of accessing right of ways.

  • Work with Engineering to maintain weekly material inventories and request quotes from suppliers to submit to project management.

  • Communicate as needed with customers.

  • Prepare timesheets for crew.

  • Assist with preparing work scope proposal documents.

  • Assist with preparing permit applications for aerial and underground work.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Relevant work experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of general computer, printer, and scanner operations.

  • Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as Adobe.

  • Experience with Google Earth preferred but will train if necessary.

  • Ability to transition easily between several ongoing tasks as necessary.

  • Willing to work in a construction atmosphere.

  • Ability to work as part of a team that cooperates to accomplish tasks.

  • Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)
