Expected salary range of $117,900 to $131,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Operations Compliance Manager partners with area leaders within and outside the Exelon organization to identify and develop solutions to maintain compliance with Exelon Generation assets, in particular the Exelon Wind, Solar & Storage fleet. This position maintains compliance with all contractual obligations including Federal and State regulatory requirements, NERC, RTOs/ISOs, RFC, and industry related regulations as required. The Manager, Operations Compliance is responsible for evaluating, developing and implementing all strategies pertaining to corporate compliance associated with the generation assets in close coordination with the operations and maintenance organization. This position will serve as the primary contact for field personal and other business units in support of compliance activities.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive and oversee all operations compliance activities with Federal and State regulatory requirements, NERC and RTOs, and contractual requirements.

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of various business initiatives to compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and RFC from RTOs and Federal and State government agencies.

  • Collaborate with WGCRP providing current and evolving state and federal laws and communicates possible courses of action regarding future compliance policy and assists with action plans with operations managers, operations center, legal, Constellation and various other entities.

  • Maintain current knowledge of FERC, NERC, RTO and State requirements and regulations pertaining to Exelon's generation assets.

  • Provide expert advice and regulatory interpretation of requirements.

  • Oversee the administration for contractual compliance with respect to Power Purchase Agreements, Generator Interconnection Agreements and financing projects.

  • Primary Subject Matter lead in support of Due Diligence with respect to Generator Interconnection and Power Purchase Agreements for Exelon Power.

  • Support the maintenance and improvement of systems and software programs used by NERC compliance processes and records of compliance.

  • Represent Exelon in various professional committees to assist in reviewing and maintaining the business unit's compliance policies.

  • Provide oversight for quality assurance/quality control of documentations and compliance records.

  • Perform other duties and handle special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in Technical field and 8+ years professional experience.

  • Knowledge of applicable standards, state and federal regulatory requirements, electric systems, bulk power generation and wholesale power markets.

  • Knowledge of Plant Operations, Rates, Tariffs, Energy Trading, State and Federal regulations, NERC Standards, and company procedures.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.

  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Engineering with 10+ years professional experience

  • Strong operations, financial and legal application background

  • NERC Certified Operator Certificate
