*This position may be filled as an Aduitor, QA III or Senior based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate(s). *
*The nature of this position is "onsite", and may be domiciled at any Entergy nuclear facility, but preferably domiciled at Nuclear Headquarters in Jackson, MS.
Plans, schedules, and conducts performance-based audits, surveillances and source activities of suppliers and generates corresponding reports in accordance with applicable EN-QV- procedures.
Leading and supporting NUPIC and other audits to evaluate suppliers’ quality assurance programs for supply of safety-related and commercial grade items/components.
Supporting site procurement organizations in a wide range of contract, engineering and inspection areas related to supplier issues.
Maintaining the Entergy qualified supplier list for assigned suppliers.
Resolving supplier nonconformance issues to support site corrective actions.
Maintaining cognizance of industry issues and participating on industry teams to resolve issues as appropriate.
Performing reviews of long-term fabrication activities at suppliers' shops (including nuclear fuel, steam generator replacements, reactor vessel heads, dry storage casks, etc.) and communicating with plant project management to resolve project-related issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field or equivalent work experience.
Auditor, QA III: Four years of nuclear power plant experience in the field of quality assurance or supervisory experience in plant operations. Requires minimum one year of experience in the overall implementation of the Quality Assurance Program and ANSI/ANS N45.2.23-1978 certification.
Auditor, QA Sr: Six years of nuclear power plant experience in the field of quality assurance or supervisory experience in plant operations. Requires minimum one year of experience in the overall implementation of the Quality Assurance Program and ANSI/ANS N45.2.23-1978 certification. Performance as lead for NUPIC Audits and/or NIEP Evaluations.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality / QAPM requirements.
Extensive knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft desktop applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments.
General understanding of nuclear power operations.
Strong leadership skills.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
- ANSI/ANS N45.2.23-1978 certifications
Desired: Extensive knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and experience.
Extensive travel is required.
- Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines.
- Applies understanding of how the team relates to other closely related areas to improve efficiency of own team.
