Class A CDL Driver / Vacuum Truck Operator
We’re looking for a CDL Driver / Vacuum Truck Operator to join our crew operating in Kansas City, MO and the surrounding area. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting directional drilling and Micro Trenching operations. You will be responsible for transporting equipment to project locations and operating hydro-excavation vacuum trucks for potholing and bore mud support. Essential Duties:
Operate and maneuver tractor trailers or truck/trailer combinations
Conduct safety checks on brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors
Perform excavation tasks using vacuum trucks to support directional drilling
Transporting finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants
Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and perform preventative maintenance
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Safely load, transport, and deliver construction materials and equipment
Adhere to loading protocols and inspect trailers before and after loading
Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
Document and log work periods
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Follow traffic safety regulations and report any unsafe vehicle or road conditions
Report defects, accidents, or violations
Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure the job site
Use personal safety equipment
Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment

Key Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
2+ years of CDL driving experience with a strong safety record.
Experience in construction or utility work is a plus.
Familiar and compliant with Federal DOT safety, and drug & alcohol testing regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Travel as needed
Able to work extended hours as needed
Physical activity required for role
Work outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
Standing and walking for extended periods on uneven surfaces
Repeated motions such as kneeling, climbing, crouching, crawling, reaching
Repeatedly lifting loads up to 50 pounds overhead
Move about, in, and around construction vehicles
Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
Manual dexterity to operate vehicles and use hand and power tools
Work from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas
Work as needed in tight spaces, including in manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics
May need to drive or ride in vehicles for long distances to reach job site
