Laborer
We are looking to fill a Laborer position in Kansas City, MO. As a laborer, you are vital to project success by ensuring safety, efficiency, and progress on the job site. You’ll have the opportunity to work outdoors, collaborating with a team to safely complete underground utility construction projects. This role allows you to enjoy the fresh air, provides a chance to learn new skills, and builds valuable industry experience. This role can be physically demanding and requires work in various weather conditions.

Essential Duties:
Load or assist with loading materials or equipment
Utilize hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities
Prepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job site
Assist in securing the work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift
Prepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
Keen attention to safety
Self-starter with a strong work ethic
Detail orientated
Coachable, willing to follow instructions
Tolerates a wide range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
The physical activity required for this role includes:
Standing or walking for long periods of time
Repeatedly lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.),
Other repetitive movements, such as kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
