Our client is looking for a career-oriented Horizontal Directional Drill Operator. As a Horizontal Drill Operator, you will:

• Use directional drill in order to run pipe and utilities underground.

• Locate utilities with Digitrak and Subsite locators.

• Participate in land surveying and steering of the initial pilot hole for pipeline construction projects.

• Be required to have extreme attention to detail, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.

• Learn the skills and qualities required to be an effective field engineer through the client's training program.

• Travel significantly throughout the United States

• Need to have flexibility on scheduling.

We're looking for someone who works hard and can handle multiple tasks at once. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability because the day-to-day working environment will involve very little direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time.

• Must be willing to relocate to Hawaii.

• Must be willing to agree to a 6 month commitment

• Hands on and Practical: likes working in the field as well as in the office.

• Excellent communication skills.

• The mentality and motivation to provide quality work both effectively and efficiently.

• Clean Driver’s License.

Hours & Compensation

• Full Time

• Competitive Salary - Approx. $52 per hour (Starting)

• Per diem

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
