Position Specific Description
The employee in this position will provide general administrative support to the attorneys in the Legal Department’s commercial / transaction team. This role will require some independent judgment and understanding of the Legal Department’s policies, procedures and organizational standards.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable with;
• Processing incoming telephone calls, written correspondence, and documents in a timely, efficient manner.
• Maintaining professionalism to clients and other business relationships.
• Maintaining calendars, scheduling and organizing meetings for attorneys, including making travel arrangements.
• Preparing and processing time reports, matter memos, closed files, expense reports.
• Take accurate and complete telephone messages.
• Ordering office supplies.
Under moderate supervision and in accordance with established Department procedures:
• Compiling basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, including PowerPoint and other management presentation materials.
• Receiving and responding to routine correspondence following established Department procedures.
• Preparing outside counsel engagement packages, budgets and track outside counsel invoices to ensure budget control.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

• Assists in case preparation including basic legal research, file maintenance and transaction management and closings
• Drafts documents and correspondence
• Maintains legal calendar and schedules all legal proceedings and negotiations
• Mentors and coordinates work activities for junior employees
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
