Position Specific Description
Responsible for the development and integration in a Hadoop environment of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project and work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst. Analyzes, Designs, builds, installs, configures and supports a Hadoop environment. Maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems and creates documentation that is reliable and efficient.
The ideal candidate is responsible for providing financial, planning, and analysis leadership for the IT business unit. You will be involved in long term planning, annual budget preparation, monthly reporting, forecasting, cash flow, financial analysis, month-end close activities, accuracy of financial information and compliance, and contributing to the overall business strategy. In this role, you will serve as an integral team member to provide financial expertise on various corporate initiatives.
• High School Graduate/ College or University Sophomore working toward bachelor's degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics
• Must have completed course work in database design/ structure as well as basic analytics.
• Analytical Problem Solving, Report Development, Good Listening Skills, Team Player, Effective Written Communications, Effective Verbal Communications, Analysis, Strategic Planning, SQL, Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel), Database Structure, Web Technologies, Information Coding Standards, Programming using any or all of the following: C#, C++, Java, JSN, HTML, Python, Spring boot, shell scripting.
• Qualifications that are a Plus: Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, Hadoop Administration, development in Kafka, Spark, Hive, HBase, Data Modeling, Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite of products.
To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assists department with assigned projects
Completes challenging projects and assignments
Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
