Position Specific Description
Our Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain Business Unit is looking for a Director Special Projects to join their team in Juno Beach, FL. This role will have responsibility for the sourcing, development, structuring, and negotiation of major equipment contracts with solar panel manufacturers. This role will establish and develop relationships with international solar panel suppliers with teams located throughout the United States, China, Southeast Asia and India. The selected candidate will understand solar panel and related equipment market dynamics with the ability to effectively communicate those dynamics both internally and externally. As part of the development and execution of the supply contracts, the role will effectively coordinate with internal groups including Engineering & Construction and the Development team among others.
This position sits in our Corporate Office so the selected candidate will have to be located in Florida.
Job Overview
Employees in this role oversee large and complex special projects. Individuals assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine and acquire resources as needed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Understands the entire scope and requirements of the project
Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project
Drives contract development with, and commercial negotiation on, large deals
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 10+ years
Leadership Experience: 2+ years
