Position Specific Description

The Cash Accounting Supervisor will report directly to the Cash Manager based in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role you will be responsible for all cash related matters and provide technical and administrative supervision on banking and cash areas. This includes but is not limited to opening/closing of bank accounts, bank reconciliations, daily forecasting, SOX, close, financings, acquisitions, and projects as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Ensures SOX compliance and system of internal and accounting controls

  • Coordinates annual audit with independent and internal auditors; assists other departments on cash related matters if necessary on audit related matters

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive workforce productivity

  • Develops, analyzes, and interprets cash information and results for metric reporting

  • Supervise staff and provide coaching and mentorship on all day to day cash functions and as items arise

  • Works closely with IT on development/automation initiatives providing prioritization and ensuring delivered products align with FCOE goals

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Work cross-functionally to support project financing/tax equity transactions and debt pay offs

  • Work cross-functionally with legal, treasury, business management, corporate accounting, construction accounting, FP&A, and Fin Ops on all cash related matters

  • Review bank documents and vendor forms related to banking information and take necessary action

This job provides technical and administrative supervision to specific accounting areas, such as general, corporate, energy marketing, payables, and receivables.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees the preparation of financial reports and maintains the integrity of financial systems

  • Develops, analyzes, and interprets accounting information and results

  • Provides analytical support of financial statements and general ledger

  • Prepares financial statements and related disclosures

  • Manages cash management process

  • Ensures SEC reporting and SOX compliance and system of internal and accounting controls

  • Consolidates multiple company financial statements

  • Maintains system of accounts, books and records on transactions and assets

  • Coordinates annual audit with independent auditors

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's - Business Administration
