JEA System Administrator Associate - Microsoft, Desktop Deployment, and Windows in Jacksonville, Florida
Professional work that installs, configures, operates, maintains and troubleshoots servers and other computer systems. Provides support services to facilitate efficient and effective use of traditional and cloud system resources. Maintains data files and monitors the system configuration to ensure data integrity. Responds to service outages and other problems.
Associate degree in Computer Science or related discipline and two (2) yrs of professional experience in a system administration role in a large corporate environment for the discipline and/or specialty area of –Microsoft, Desktop Deployment, and Windows.
Applicants that are actively enrolled in and attending college and are within their final year of the Computer Science degree program will be deemed eligible, allowed to test/interview for the position and if successful will be placed on the eligibility list. Successful completion of the degree must be presented prior to hire date.
Four (4) year combination of education, training and experience in installing, supporting, and maintaining servers and other computer systems in a large corporate environment for the discipline and/or specialty area of Microsoft, Desktop Deployment, and Windows.
A valid driver’s license is required prior to employment and must be maintained during employment in this classification.
The certifications and licensing below must be obtained within six (6) months of employment. Failure to obtain required certifications may be cause for termination. Certifications and licensing must be maintained during employment in this job class.
