Plan and manage medium-to-large sized gas projects with moderate to high complexity. Ensure projects results contribute to a positive business value. Meet agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives. Develop and maintain project plans that provide timely deliverables in order to achieve project objectives.
Utilizing Project Management tools and techniques, manage multiple complex projects
Identify and recommend new processes, techniques and standards that drive performance and process management
Identify, prioritize and drive the implementation of process enhancements
Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
Assist in the development of performance metrics and track performance of project executed
5 or more year of engineering/business experience with demonstrated capability to lead medium to large scale projects, simultaneously with multiple small-scale projects
Project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
Planning, organizational and leadership skills
Communication skills including verbal, written, meeting facilitation and negotiations
Interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients
A proven ability to work across departments collaboratively to resolve issues, drive projects to closure, achieve desired results/goals, and/or implement change as needed
8 or more years applied engineering or equivalent working experience; including project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. If not certified, employee must obtain certification within 3 years of entering the job family
BA in technical field preferred
Location is Jackson, MI- remote options available within the State of Michigan
Manage effectively multiple medium to large gas projects that meet the needs of our customers to provide safe and reliable service.
Mostly indoor but some site visits to construction sites during construction season
