In this job, you’ll focus on program and project development, with expertise in instructional design for both In-Person and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (ILT and VILT). This role requires strong facilitation skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective communication to drive the development and implementation of impactful learning solutions enterprise-wide. As an individual contributor, the Senior Advisor will work independently and provide high-level expertise to support the organization’s learning and development goals.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Program/Project Development\: Independently lead multiple learning and development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

  • Instructional Design\: In collaboration with the Sr. Manager, L&D implement instructional design strategies for ID team to increase efficiency using all available technology effectively.

  • Facilitation\: Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both virtually and in-person, to diverse audiences.

  • O rganization\: Maintain a high level of organization in managing projects, workflows, and documentation.

  • Content Quality Assurance\: Ensure the quality and consistency of learning content through rigorous review and feedback processes.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration\: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement learning solutions that meet organizational goals, providing subject matter expertise and guidance.

  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

The essentials

  • ·Ten or more yearsof experience in instructional design, quality control, and project development.

  • Five or more years in facilitation for ILT and VILT

The preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Technical Proficiency\: Proficient in using educational technology, collaborative technologies, and proven ability to learn/train new technology rapidly.

  • Experienced with the principles and methodologies of program evaluation with experience in developing actionable evaluation plans, synthesize findings and make practical recommendations for enhancements.

  • Experience using data analysis for informed decision-making.

  • Experienced with policy creation and implementation

  • Experienced with staff and technology training development.

  • Experience using AI tools for work efficiency.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
