Become a Senior Manager of Marketing at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will lead a team responsible for strategic planning, integration, and forecasting within the Customer Experience Marketing by Automation department. You will set objectives to develop cohesive and effective marketing and digital strategies at the program portfolio level. In this leadership role, you will guide your team through high-impact assignments with significant complexity in a cross-functional environment. You will mentor and support your team in recommending strategies based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, new business partners, and internal process improvements.

Additionally, you will oversee how the marketing department evaluates program success through financial and marketing attribution modeling. You will be part of the team transforming how SCE markets its programs and services to all customer segments, driving more efficient marketing outcomes and enhancing the overall service experience for SCE customers. You will lead cross-functional teams from across SCE and external regulatory partners, vendors, and internal clients. Working with Product/Program owners, you will manage a budget of approximately $10-30MM and a portfolio of marketing programs, reporting directly to the Principal Manager. You will work at a strategic level, focusing on innovation, technology enablement, and performance. This role requires a strong emphasis on digital marketing technology (Martech), data literacy, and excellent project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develops innovative opportunities to increase customer engagement, including the development and testing of media campaigns

  • Monitors and optimizes marketing budget allocation based on performance and guidelines

  • Leads weekly and monthly planning sessions to maintain the integrated marketing calendar and partner with cross-discipline teams on strategic approaches to content

  • Manages multiple complex projects simultaneously, with focus on high-priority tasks and make sound decisions under pressure

  • Develops and optimizes strategic programmatic digital and marketing campaigns that perform consistently above system-wide benchmarks

  • Establishes a digital scoring model to identify gaps in digital vs non-digital customer behavior in successfully developing the customer experience strategy to migrate customers low cost to serve channels

  • Develops and maintains brand standards, create comprehensive brand guidelines, and manage brand identity across all touchpoints

  • Conducts and incorporates market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to develop effective marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share

  • Contributes to integrated communications strategies for key business initiatives, brand management, and crisis communications programs

  • Drives penetration into new segments through use of strategic marketing initiatives

  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management

  • Experience leading product/brand management initiatives and commercial/business development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MA/MS in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing Strategy or related field

  • Experience leading product and brand marketing initiatives within the commercial / residential

  • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, Salesforce and web analytics platforms

  • Experience in leading regulatory programs with Government entities

  • Proficiency in digital, social media, email and content marketing

  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and inspire a digital marketing team

  • Excellent project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling content and collaborating with partners and Executives

Additional Information

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
