Become a Senior Data Analyst at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will work with the Senior Manager of Income Qualified Programs. The Senior Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting various programs, services, and mandates within the organization. The new position’s responsibilities encompass collecting, compiling, and mining substantial amounts of data from enterprise systems, conducting sophisticated data analytics. Additionally, the Senior Datal Analyst will build, fine-tune, and evaluate predictive models based on customer socioeconomic and demographic information. These models are instrumental in analyzing eligible customers for a range of assistance programs, including California Alternative Rates for Energy (CARE) & Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) and Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) program.

Responsibilities
Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives
Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards
Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review
Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as audits
Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needs
Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department and/or Operating Unit
Develop and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis
Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience performing business operations analysis.
The preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
Proficiency in SAS programming, SQL, Macros and data manipulation.
Experience with various SAP modules, system configuration and customization.
Experience with HANA database management.
Experience using Python tools and systems. This includes developing and maintaining various applications, automating tasks, and analyzing data.
Experience in supporting low income, energy efficiency or building electrification projects or programs.
Knowledge of utility rates and customer billing process.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with peers, clients, management, and other organizations.
You should know
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs
