Become a PSPS Incident Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will support the PSPS Wildfire Response program and coordinate and document key projects and initiatives to maintain PSPS protocols, train and lead exercises for PSPS Incident Management Teams (IMT) and respond to PSPS events as a critical team member. A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine brightly!

  • Activate with the PSPS team to provide guidance and direction in use of emergency response processes, technologies and equipment.

  • Support the Incident Command System and Incident Action Planning process during PSPS events,

  • Support all situational awareness and staffing resource needs for the IMT.

  • Assist with external emergency management partner coordination.

  • Lead response to PSPS activations by filling critical ICS positions on Dedicated PSPS IMTs.


The essentials

  • Seven years of experience working within or leading cross functional teams.

  • Two years’ experience responding to complex emergencies with significant operational, financial and reputational impacts.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in management or technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • In-depth working knowledge of PSPS requirements and experience working in PSPS related positions.

  • Certifications: Project Management Certification;Certified in ICS 300 and 400;Certified Emergency Manager.
