Become a Marketing and Digital Communications Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help shape the future. In this role, you’ll drive impactful marketing strategies for both business and residential customers, managing a portfolio of programs such as affordability and electrification initiatives. You’ll ensure effective program execution, align marketing campaigns with business objectives, and enhance the customer experience through multi-channel efforts.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights and SCE’s Martech stack to optimize automated marketing efforts, improve customer engagement, and track performance metrics. With a budget ranging from $5-10MM, you’ll support strategic campaigns and regulatory mandates, working closely with external partners and the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).

Responsibilities
Develops the Public Relations and Analyst Relations strategies to improve engagement, brand awareness and accountability for impact
Utilizes technical skills and marketing expertise to develop, implement, and optimize automated marketing program campaigns and collects marketing requirements from stakeholders and convert them into technical requirements for IT groups. This is based on the existing capabilities of SCE’s marketing technologies.
Oversees project management execution for marketing communications activities including campaigns and content that supports the customers journey and aligns to the selling process
Oversees the development of marketing communications campaigns by understanding media coverage and industry trends and developing fresh story ideas to propel SCE forward
Manages and supervises campaigns, ensuring that they are executed within the guided framework and that the campaign complies with the organisations marketing plans and objectives
Monitors key metrics to measure the effectiveness of our communications efforts and to make data-driven decisions to improve our strategy
Shapes and oversees strategic marketing communication plans, including developing plans in line with other business initiatives, communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvals
Review analytics and customer feedback to proactively identify and improve the experiences and satisfaction of our customers
Working in collaboration with product or program owners, responsible for all aspects of strategic campaign development, measurement and execution of SCE’s marketing, digital and customer lifecycle nurture programs
Achieve operational efficiency via effective implementation plans (e.g.,. optimal channel mix, targeted communications, relevant offers, relevant messaging)
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in marketing, advertising or communications.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
Experience implementing automated offer management using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise-grade multi-channel marketing hub.
Vendor management experience.
Experience with multi-channel marketing strategy and planning (media, banner, radio, etc) driven by sophisticated analytics and data modeling.
Utility or other highly regulated industry experience.
Experience with enterprise marketing software – Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Exp. or Cloud.
Ability to work independently and in fast paced environment
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
