Become a Digital Labor Project Manager (Project Regular) at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you will be part of the Digital Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) team within the Customer Service Operations Division (CSOD)and will co-lead in the development and administration of a team of robots within the Revenue Services Organization. You will focus on leading and project managing process automations utilizing a vendor Robotics tool (UiPath) across the department. You will interact closely with all levels of employees and leaders to lead the automation process that will replace the human interaction within the identified process.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Development of cost/benefit analysis and scoping of potential digital solution.

  • Evaluate, assess, design and deliver digital process automation solutions.

  • Define the project scope, goals and deliverables of each digital product solution.

  • Process re-engineering activities, to-be process design, and development of business/technical specification documents, test plan/test case development, leading user acceptance testing and overall project management of each initiative/automation project.

  • Provide consultation on robotics opportunities to all levels of collaborators within Customer Service.

Qualifications

The essentials

  • Seven (7) or more years of project management experience, with a focus on Technology Projects.

  • Process Re-engineering and design/development experience.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.

  • Experience in system and process implementations.

  • Project Management certification (PMP).

  • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Understands the software development life-cycle, including but not limited to practical work experience in developing and translating logical and physical system diagrams, development of business and system requirements, and performing user-acceptance testing.

  • Proficiency in systems design, such as Visio or other types of systems diagram tools.

  • Work Mode: The position’s work mode is remote . Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion.
