Vistra Manager, Sales Development Team in Irving, Texas

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Field Sales, this position is responsible for the full operation of the Sales Development team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating hiring profiles, hiring Sales Dev Reps (SDR) oversee creation and updates to training models and execution and attainment of all channel goals.

The position provides daily coaching, strategy and tactical shifts in order to guide the team towards their goals.

Champions development of process improvement mechanisms to increase sales and conversion rates within the commercial sales team and broader enterprise.

Customer experience direction, compliance with federal calling laws as well as strategically setting new campaigns and tactics.

The Manager supports all efforts and oversees the daily operation of the SDR team.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Optimizes the SDR team in their efforts to generate leads for the LBM team.

•Oversees and tracks lead sources, list yields as well as mtgs scheduled and results.

  • Running sales pipeline meetings that review all sales opportunities for the current month and quarter.

  • Focus on assisting each salesperson with closing forecasted deals.

•Responsible for accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly sales results prior to month and quarter close.

•Responsible for daily/monthly sales compliance and policy adherence. Responds to all legal and compliance inquiry for the department and is accountable for working within federal, state and company guidelines.

•Provide direction for monthly and annual channel spend (incentives, motivational spend and bonus opportunities).

•Coordinates, creates, and deploys campaigns and tracks their success.

•Works as a subject matter experts interacting with partner to advise on SDR results. Deep understanding of the product offerings.

•Responsible for the accurate reporting of channel results and output, the on-going search of potential employees as well as developing their compensations plans.

•Lead recruiting efforts to grow the SDR team.

•Provide coaching to direct reports on professional career development and job performance on a regular basis. Facilitates career progression by challenging employees to develop new skills to help them reach the next level of performance and responsibility.

•Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

•5+ years work related experience.

•Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable

•Retail sales experience with a proven track record supporting sales teams via analytics, tactical projects and customer experience events. Experience functioning as a part of cross functional and collaborative team.

•Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and individuals.

•Experience with CRM software, like Salesforce.

•HS Diploma or equivalency required.

•Achievement of:

  • Annual business plan targets, such as sales meetings set, deals closed, and other metrics as defined.

  • Hiring and staffing metrics.

  • Improved insights into sales and customer interests.

•Resolution of identified compliance or regulatory issue, including documentation within required timeframe and documenting corrective action, as necessary.

•Maintain budgetary integrity for cost and associated expenses.
