Main Responsabilities:

Under general supervision, is responsible for preparing and tracking scheduled outage work schedules at Power Supply facilities.

  • Work with others to prepare fully coordinated plans and logical sequence of activities

  • Coordinate construction activities with other business units including materials management, engineering and construction.

  • Coordinate construction activities with other companies and contractors

  • Communicate the plan to all company stakeholders who will play a role in successfully completing the work.

  • Provide work performance analysis on a per project, per crew basis to be used for crew performance evaluations.

  • Counsel and advise personnel on assignments, maintain effective controls over accuracy of work performed, participate in such work as required to meet schedules, direct investigation of discrepancies and analyze abnormal conditions.

  • Lead work coordination meetings held with outage management leadership, plant leadership and engineering leadership to coordinate planned outage work flow and takes the lead in planning and arranging work schedules to meet unexpected needs.

  • Maintain existing outage management cost tracking/forecasting access data base.

  • Develop and administer Microsoft Access database applications and provide project team database management system support.

  • Play a key role in managing non-engineered maintenance

  • Actively complies with all Company safety and health rules, policies, and procedures

  • Perform any and all other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Vocational or technical training

  • Strong computer skills with verifiable experience in database applications and /or project management software

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to facilitate and communicate effectively in project team meetings

  • Team participation and experience is essential

  • Must be results oriented, self-motivated with strong multi-task capabilities and able to work with limited direct supervision

  • Must be able to analyze reports and summarize information for management decisions

  • Strong problem solving skills with an ability to properly prioritize projects and tasks

Additional consideration will be given for the following job-related training or experience:

  • Previous experience in overhead and underground line construction

  • Any other qualifications contributing to the applicant’s ability to perform the job.
