USIC Senior Training Manager - Delivery in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description:

Location: Indianapolis, IN or Regionally based remote locations

Summary

The Senior Training Delivery Manager will lead a layered team of Training Managers, Instructors and Field Trainers. This team is responsible for delivering classroom, on the job and/or virtual learning for new hires and incumbent employees. Curriculums that will be delivered will include but are not limited to new hire, continuing education, and leadership training. . In this role, the Senior Manager will work proactively with their team, the field and other senior USIC leaders to build consultative relationships that ensure the strategic execution of training curriculums and the identification of opportunities for improved ROI and learner experiences. .

Responsibilities

  • Lead a training delivery team with diverse roles and curriculum responsibilities.

  • Coach and develop team on classroom facilitations skills, curriculum delivery, feedback delivery and operational effectiveness.

  • Build and execute long term strategic plan for needed USIC Division and Region new hire, leadership, and other continuing education learning impact needs.

  • Make data driven decisions to prioritize learning delivery opportunities that create positive results for clients and projects.

  • Manage delivery resources to ensure optimal effectiveness, execution, and efficiency.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for field/corporate partnerships that create opportunities for process refinement or elevating business outcomes.

  • Partner with field teams and key stakeholders to create/execute learning program delivery strategies that have positive business impacts.

  • Ensure all content is delivered consistently in alignment with USIC Standards for:

  • Compliance

Requirements

  • 5+ years in learning and development with at least 3 years in learning delivery.

  • 8+ years leading, coachingcoaching, and developing diverse and results oriented teams.

  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning and curriculum facilitation methodologies.

  • Advanced knowledge of modern adult learning concepts and delivery technologies.

  • Learning effectiveness evaluation methodologies.

  • Proven track record of learning modernization and innovation.

  • Learning resource prioritization and needs assessment.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and customers.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous and complex activities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability and desire to take initiative.

  • Ability to build rapport with team members and to collaborate on project completion.

  • Possession of effective change management skills that foster personal and professional growth, champions innovation, and advances the capabilities of a high-performing team.

  • Adept at handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines through the possession of strong organization and management skills

  • Proficiency in using core MS Office Suite products and e-learning platforms

  • Advanced education in adult learning theory or related field preferred

  • Ability to travel 25-50%.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
