Individual will combine responsibility for supervising the evaluation of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and various financial processes for the US Business Unit entities with General Accounting duties. The controls responsibilities include coordination of the annual Sarbanes-Oxley scoping exercise for the US Business Units standalone SEC Filers, IPL and DPL. The Internal Controls Manager will work with Accounting and Financial Reporting teams to identify, test and evaluate test results of key internal controls as part of the annual Control Self-Assessment process. General Accounting duties will be focused on identifying and coordinating process improvement initiatives and taking on other projects as assigned.

  • Conduct annual Sarbanes-Oxley scoping exercise for in-scope entities, IPL and DPL

  • Supervise the updating of control and process documentation performed by the Controls Specialist

  • Conduct controls training and communication meetings with Accounting and Financial Reporting teams

  • Coordinate annual testing requirements for controls self assessment with both internal and external resources

  • Identify and communicate control deficiencies to relevant departments and develop corrective action plans

  • Track and test completion of corrective action plans for control deficiencies identified

  • Play a leading role in identifying and coordinating improvements to processes

  • Other projects as assigned
