Vectren is looking for diverse, talented colleagues interested in being a part of a new and exciting opportunity in Vectren’s Customer Energy Solutions Department. Vectren has an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced marketing pro to join our recently created Indianapolis-based smart home business. As part of Vectren’s Smart Energy Future, which includes investments in smart meters and solar, this role will work on an innovative direct-to-consumer service in the internet-of-things space. The position will own all aspects of marketing the solution, with the goal of driving subscriber adoption and retention. What you will be doing
Provide leadership and direction for the following areas of Vectren’s smart home solutions:
Drive B2C and B2B strategy and execution in developing and maintaining brand, messaging, and content assets
Generate new subscribers through consumer marketing campaigns
Retain existing subscribers through retention programs
Create and optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing process
Maintain channel and contractor partner programs
Define and implement communication plans
Manage agencies and other external partners
Track performance and drive continuous improvement
What you bring
6 years of relevant experience
Strong marketing background, with broad experience managing and executing across multiple marketing functions, i.e. communications, consumer, channel, brand, etc.
Experience managing agencies and executing campaigns
Ability to lead and manage, as well as the ability to step in and drive results
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to effectively network internally and externally
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization internally and externally
Added bonus if you have
Consumer products, utility, and/or in-home contractor experience
Proven success in driving subscription services adoption and retention
