AES’s US Transmission and Distribution (T&D) businesses in Indiana and Ohio are seeking a Development Project Manager to develop long-term maintenance and investment project plans to be included in the capital budget. Under general supervision, the Development Project Manager will be responsible for developing the scope, estimate, and schedule of assigned projects. Assigned projects will include primarily capital investments including asset replacements, maintenance, customer growth, Smart Grid, renewable energy integration, and general operations.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should be a Junior or Senior student pursuing a degree in Engineering.
Primary duties:
Create scope of work documents, cost estimates, and schedules for assigned projects engaging engineering and other SME’s as required.
Build the project business case using reliability, integrated system planning, and other inputs.
Provide bid specifications to Supply Chain in accordance with the procurement process.
Compile detailed work plans for the Project Management Organization, Engineering, and Operations teams to execute.
Apply Management of Change and Asset Governance processes for controlling the modification of equipment, systems, and processes.
Intern may be expected to complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor.
