Have you supported Business Partners with the management of interfaces between operations and SCM to ensure balanced alignment of SCM/Ops policies with business needs? Our SCM GTM Advisor will also provide analysis/reviews of SCM initiatives, Business Unit (BU) performance, as well as identification of key accomplishments and opportunities for SCM collaboration.

What you will do:

Assist SCM GTM Business Partners with the following:

  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators and provide analysis and reports on SCM performance relative to the Service Level Agreement between the BU and SCM

  • Collaborate with Business Partners and other areas within SCM to confirm strategies and execution plans to improve performance relative to Service Level Agreements.

  • Create and develop dashboards and reporting systems.

  • Support development, implementation, and rollout of approved SCM strategies and initiatives.

  • Work with SCM Regional BPs, FP&A, BU and SCM Leadership to support coordination of financial planning for annual budget process including forecasting costs and identifying cost improvement strategies for approval.

  • Collection and analysis of customer satisfaction feedback, as well as proposing an action plan to address operational feedback for review by the Director.

  • Coordination between the SCM Regional BPs to ensure a consistent level of service across the BU

  • Support Regional Director and SCM BP Leadership with analysis/mapping/development of work process flows which range in complexity.

  • Coordinate development of presentations to communicate business strategies, plans and results

Who you are :

You have:

  • 4+ years of position related experience in addition to a university degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related subject area

  • A keen interest in understanding business unit needs and how to meet those needs under Corporate and SCM procedures

You can:

  • Build collaborative relationships and share information, standard methodologies and lessons learned

  • Manage concurrent initiatives and conflicting priorities while also being able to influence partners/customers without authority

You are:

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator who can relay standard facts and complex analysis of business implications, at times to a non-technical audience

  • A sophisticated user of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Power BI with strong analytical capabilities

The following are considered assets:

  • Enrollment in SCM related professional certification, such as PMAC or ISM

  • Experience with ERP systems specifically Oracle and SAP

  • Strong process mapping

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in typical office environment with a limited need for travel

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
