As a Field Operations Recruiter you will work hand in hand with the Operations Team to insure that new hires are processed in a timely manner. You will help establish Linetec as an employer of choice by developing partnerships in the community and raising awareness of the company and job opportunities. In this role you will report to the Regional HR Manager and work with a team of Recruiters and HR Administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage job requisitions utilizing the Applicant Tracking System, SuccessFactors

  • Work closely with new hires to create a positive candidate experience

  • Pre-screen resumes for Hiring Managers

  • Execute onboarding process, including background checks, drug screens and new hire paperwork

  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with educational institutions, military, professional associations, and community organizations to facilitate the company’s staffing demands

  • Plan, organize and participate in career fairs and community events

  • Create industry and brand awareness

  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

Education, Skills, Experience Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred

  • 3 years of high volume recruitment experience

  • Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Understanding of employment practices and employment law

  • Excellent customer-service skills, with timely responses to requests

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to positively represent the company in a professional manner at events

Working Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment

  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice

  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing

  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

  • Some travel required (less than 25%)

Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens

  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify

  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
