Digital Marketing Specialist - CNP03628

Center Point Energy is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Team .

You will have the ability to be responsible for the creation, communication, and execution of successful marketing strategies for our customer base. You will be part of the team responsible for our enterprise digital experience, including web content management, campaign automation, user experience design and strategic communications. Digital team members should excel at building relationships through frequent and effective communication, analyzing performance data and best practices together to form a strategy, and responding to customer needs to efficiently deliver high quality business solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and business stakeholders to understand key objectives and implement digital strategies that drive business results.

  • Manage the implementation and development of content and design for company website and email campaigns.

  • Collaborate with writers and designers to implement web site content consistent with branding and style guidelines.

  • Analyze content needs and consumption data to optimize content and develop a schedule for updates, archiving, and ongoing production of content.

  • Analyze website and campaign performance, accessibility, and accuracy.

  • Develop strategies for website enhancements to attract and engage customers.

  • Present and conduct group discussions on online marketing strategies and promoting user experience

  • Collaborate with development teams to scope, prioritize, and test website enhancements.

  • Test and improve website functionality for usability and performance on a variety of browsers.

  • Identify customer personas to guide communication of products and services.

  • Responsible for populating, updating and scheduling content on online marketing platforms (CMS).

  • Manage marketing automation platform for campaign execution and contact engagement.

  • Develop optimization processes and strategy recommendations.

  • Manage the design and development of webpages, e-mail templates and other digital assets.

  • Monitor industry trends and provide ongoing recommendations for to improve customer experience and site usability.

  • May research, write and edit content for web pages as needed.

  • Join crisis/emergency teams during events and provides after-hours support as requested.

  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

Your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Requires a minimum of three (3) years of direct job-related experience in website management or email marketing

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Knowledge of design, usability, and digital channel best practices

  • Web and email performance analysis

  • SEO/SEM tools and best practices

  • Working with stakeholders to understand business objectives

  • Working with technology staff to define technical requirements

  • Knowledge of data privacy and ADA compliance

  • Writing, editing, proofreading content for digital channels

  • Use or design tools and processes for digital channels
