Eversource Energy Scheduler Planner in Hooksett, New Hampshire

Job Description Summary:

Individual exercises judgment and discretion in the completion of tasks associated with the scheduling and coordination of the work schedule for the Communication & Control Department, Substation Electric Operations. The primary deliverableforthe Scheduler Planner is tocoordinate all planned and emergentwork. Individualis responsible for monitoring and changing the schedule as needed to accommodate established goals; accountable for monitoring compliance work and corrective backlog; responsible to coordinate with local control center, supervisors, AWC's, projects and engineering; conduct weekly scheduling meetings; and responsible to follow established guidelines regarding the scheduling process.


A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and directly related experience in addition to at least five years of related experience isrequired. Knowledgeof transmission & distribution maintenance, construction, testing, operations and work management principles is highlydesirable. Knowledgeof OSHA requirements and safety rules is also highlydesirable. Thisposition requires a working knowledge of work management systems and schedulingtechniques. ExperiencewithCascade, Primavera,Arcos, TOA, Microsoft Project and Maximo is highlydesirable. Goodcomputer skills and a working knowledge of Excelrequired. Incumbentmust possess excellent multi-tasking skills, be detail oriented, meet expectations of multiple organizations and possess the ability to understand goal-drivendeliverables. Individualwill have storm restoration and emergency assignments.
