Manager Corporate Risk Programs- Manager Corporate Risk Programs at corporate Engineering is responsible to the Corporate Engineering SR Director for providing and coordinating the overall governance, oversight, performance and support for Risk Management, License Renewal, Fire Protection and M-Rule/MSPI/SCFP (Surveillance Control Frequency Program) with input from the stations. Represents, leads, develop overall strategies and influences decision-making at the industry level. Provides oversight and recommendations for routine program assessments, outage readiness and preparation for outside organizational assessments (i.e. INPO).
This includes governance, oversight, support and perform of probabilistic risk analyses (PRA) Program. Work includes initiating event analyses, system fault and event tree analyses, human and data reliability analyses, internal fire risk assessments, evaluation of fire initiating events, and model development and quantification. Perform risk/cost benefit and safety significance assessments. integrated safety assessment (ISA), Hazard Analysis, Use PSA software tools to develop computer risk models. Perform Seismic PRAs and support for Site Risk Informed Program. This person will also manage and control cost with the Jensen Hughes Contract.
This individual responsible for governance and oversight of Fire Protection Program, M-Rule/MSPI/SCFP for both Salem and Hope Creek stations.
This individual responsible for governance, oversight, support and performance of License Renewal program for both Salem and Hope Creek stations. This include management of Aging Management programs to implement all the commitments made for extend of licenses.
REQUIRED: BS degree in Engineering - Minimum of 10 years nuclear industry experience with at least 5 years in engineering and 3 or more years in an engineering supervisory or leadership position. Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiar with both PWR and BWR operations. Familiar with INPO Engineering Program expectations and the ability to drive site improvement to achieve sustained excellent performance (industry top quartile performance). The candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business.
DESIRED: Experience in multiple nuclear plant engineering disciplines (i.e. systems, design, programs, and procurement); Current or Previous NRC SRO License or certification; ability to manage projects and /or external vendors; familiar with the License Renewal process , Risk Management, Fire Protection and M-Rule requirements.. This individual has ultimate responsibility to ensure that these engineering programs for PSEG Nuclear meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and are achieving / approaching industry best practice.
