The Commodity Specialist is responsible for full scope procurement of all materials and services for the assigned business units using the e-Procurement tools. You will establish a wide range of sourcing strategies to support the business units in meeting/managing their demands.Full scope procurement includes;Mitigate the company’s liability and risk through negotiating legal terms and conditions.Establish and manage risk on existing contracts with suppliers.Prepare and lead negotiations (standard & complex) with suppliers.Manage supplier transitions as part of contract implementation.Participate in cross-functional procurement teams.Provide commercial management for major initiatives.Communicate vital market, contract, and supplier information to business units.In addition, implement strategic approaches to sourcing goods/services to achieve superior business results that satisfy business unit, department and corporate objectives. Ensure the key strategies of the Supply Chain sourcing plan are delivered according to plan. Establish cross-functional teams consisting of suppliers and company stakeholders and provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members to insure the team’s success. Provide work direction to Sourcing Analysts to coordinate material planning and inventory management.
