Purpose
We’re looking for an experienced Instrument Control Technician to join our Operations Team serving multiple communities in the Greater Phoenix area. In this role, you’ll help ensure our water and wastewater facilities operate efficiently and safely by performing hands-on maintenance and repair of critical control systems and instrumentation.
Accountabilities
Perform skilled preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical controls, instrumentation, and water/wastewater system equipment
Troubleshoot and calibrate SCADA systems, electrical circuits, and process monitoring equipment
Operate and maintain pumps, blowers, motors, chemical feed systems, and lab instruments to ensure compliance with Company, state, and EPA standards
Use telemetry systems to monitor and make real-time operational adjustments to maintain water quality
Read meters, gauges, and instruments—logging data and maintaining accurate records in our digital systems
Respond to operational emergencies as needed and assist with shift coverage
Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework or trade certification preferred
1+ year(s) of experience in electrical or instrumentation work in the water/wastewater field
Required certifications: Arizona Electrician Certification & ADEQ Wastewater Operator I
Hands-on experience working with SCADA controls, electrical troubleshooting, and repair
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel across multiple sites in the Phoenix Valley
