Essential Functions

  • Construction work for the installation of a solar field.

  • Ensure first time quality and standards in all facets of your work.

  • Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.

  • Supporting the equipment operators in the unloading of various solar supplies that are 50-75lbs each.

  • Moving materials around the site.

  • Working with the various crews to ensure all solar supplies are laid out in the correct areas.

  • Assist with installation of solar panels, utilizing hand and power tools.

  • Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.

  • All other duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • No experience necessary will train!

  • Can do attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to show up on time prepared to work.

  • Must possess strong attention to detail.

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of quality assurance with an emphasis on safety.

  • Position is subject to pre-employment screening, which will include drug testing.

  • All standard personal protective equipment (PPE) will be distributed on site, this includes a hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves.

  • Steel toed/composite toed boots required.

Work Environment

  • Follow group and industry safety standards and be a part of ensuring that the crew has a safe and discrimination free work environment.

  • Routinely perform work outdoors in sometimes inclement weather with moderate to high noise level. Worker may be subject to hazards including variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current.

  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience with weekly pay. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
