Job Summary

Serves as nuclear station representative for all supply management activities. Monitors materials and procurement issues for assigned station, to ensure fulfillment of nuclear business requirements, including plant issue resolution and performance indicator monitoring.

Assesses and prioritizes department and/or project requirements and resource needs. Plans and implements communications on initiatives and strategies. Provides nuclear department input for outage and daily planning activities. Reviews and coordinates daily and long-range material and services activities.

Monitors procurement activities, to ensure material and services are available to support station work scheduling dates. Coordinates activities among sourcing teams, warehousing, and material verification.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

At least 9 years related experience. Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience.

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:

  • Full knowledge of supply management techniques.

  • Basic knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and design control.

  • Strong knowledge of computer applications and systems.

  • Basic knowledge of job-specific applications in materials management, corporate finance, and accounting.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
