Position Overview

Our team is a dedicated group of analysts and advisors supporting the Grid Services organization in SCE’s IT department. We’re in constant pursuit of doing things better, simpler, and more efficiently using analytics & automation as our foundation to drive change. Typical Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be identifying and implementing process improvements primarily in support of our $100m+ project execution organization. As part of the Telecom Project Management Office (PMO) you’ll quickly develop a broad understanding of our processes and will have the purview to influence change quickly. In this role, you will typically be responsible for:

  • Delivering Insights – Collect and analyze data to identify unique business insights and develop targeted recommendations to improve operational processes.

  • Improving Processes – Assess and develop strategies to improve efficiency; leverage automation or other techniques to dramatically simplify ways of working.

  • Developing Relationships – Interface with our clients to gather requirements, then drive analytic projects to help solve key organizational pain points.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years of experience working in business analysis or process improvement.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.

  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tool or techniques.

  • Experience with automation (Excel VBA, Auto Hotkey, etc…).

  • Analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data to tell a story, validate assumptions, develop use cases, and complete root cause analyses.

  • Prior consulting experience.

  • Passionate about getting things done and driving improvements to completion.

  • Polished written and verbal communication skills.

  • Prior experience working in a PMO or other project-centric environment.

  • Experience with organizational change management.

  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of applications (e.g. Excel).


  • Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.

  • This position will be based in Rosemead, CA but will have the opportunity to have split time, to work remotely out of our Fullerton, CA location.

  • This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties
